Here we are, at the middle of November. Trees are absolutely bare now, but a monthly old pictures remind me a beautiful autumn and the glorious part of it. I still enjoy walking in woods, now when leaves cover the ground, but they’ll soon turn to a greyish-brown matter and, as nature rules it, they’ll become part of the whole renewing circle again. November is by far my least favourite month of the year, though I absolutely love the color grey, when my entire environment turns to that particular shade of dull, sleepy and cold grey, I can’t wait for it to be covered in white. I could just skip right to December!
So, here are my latest autumn images, maybe the last showing some colors before spring. November is great for black and whites though, that’s a consolation.

Finally it`s time to show you our amazing weekends photo report from Geneva. Our great team of five girls fell in love with this small and cosy city within moments of our arrival. Geneva is the second-largest city in Switzerland and would have to be considered one of the loveliest with its beautiful location on the shores of Lake Geneva and view of both the Jura Mountains and the French Alps.
Musée d’Art et d’Histoire
Next our stop was at the Museum of Art and History. The fine art section has paintings from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, with works by the Italian, Dutch, French, English, Genevan and Swiss Artists. The best-known painting is The Miraculous Draught of Fishes by Konrad Witz. Other major artists include Rembrandt, Cézanne, Modigliani, and the sculptor Rodin.
In the room I’ve admired the most are the paintings by the Swiss artist Ferdinand Hodler (1853-1918). He was a master of several styles. In one style he paints amazing scenes of lakes and mountains, quite modern and impressionistic, with really wonderful hues. The paintings take on an abstract, symbolic energy. Hodler has one particular blue that I wish I knew how to mix.

Le Jet d’Eau
This fountain which is situated near the left bank of Lake Geneva is one of the largest fountains in the world (140 metres high) and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. The fountain sprays water into the air at a rate of 200km/hr and if the wind changes direction suddenly then you might very well get wetter than you had intended.
